Italian born, Walter is a director/writer and award winning Music Video director.

Past credits include ‘Hold my wrists tight’ (episode in the series ‘Tinto Brass presents’), ‘A look on the wild side’ a documentary on Paul Morrissey, ‘Nerofumo’ short film, and ‘Blanche Dumas – from B to Z’, starring Hetty Baynes Russell and Simon Callow.

The script ‘Scream Queen’, chronicling the further adventures of Blanche Dumas and her maladroit agent Alex Barry, placed Semi-Finalist at NYC International Screenplay Awards 2019 and WON Best Comedy at the 3rd Annual Famous Monsters Silver Scream Fest 2018 and Best Feature Length International Screenplay at the Houston Comedy Film Festival 2019,.

‘Blanche Dumas from B to Z’ has been included in the film anthology ‘Grindsploitation 3: Video Nasty’, AVAILABLE on TROMA.VHX.TV!!!

The latest entry in the Blanche Dumas canon, ‘Empire of the Crabs’, is also available through Troma as part of the feature ‘Grindsploitation 4: Meltsploitation’.

 

Far from being a spiritual U-turn, the award winning music video ‘Take the Next Step’ (Olympus Festival, Los Angeles – Indian Music Video Awards) represents the most whimsical facet of Walter’s personality.  — The video also qualified as semi finalist at the International Underground Music Video Festival in Los Angeles and was in competition at the TMC London Film Festival and at the Los Angeles CineFest.

In Rome, Walter also worked as a theatre director  – ‘Good as you’, ‘La misteriosa storia di una bottiglia di rosolio’ – and assistant director – ‘Pop corn’, ‘Fiat lux’, among others.

Walter currently lives in London.
